This book isn't anything too special, it's more about reality than it is about impressing readers. These are the fragments of my life (and someone I knew) that I've managed to remember, despite the tendency of the most significant things to slip into oblivion -- these stories, poems, biography and autobiography are about suffering, grief, trauma -- and are intended to heal, somehow.
