The Noonday Devil
About this book
Ursula Curtiss is a master of mystery. Her novels do not need the blood and gore to create a wonderful sense of mystery. A young man goes in search of the killer of his brother. At every turn he is puzzled by the evidence that seems to disappear right under his nose. Even his brother's fiance seems to have information that she feels the need to hide. When the conclusion finally comes, it is with a sense of regret that the mystery was solved, because it meant I had nothing more to read.
