Teachers are the link between the present and the future world leaders and play a vital role in bringing current events and international affairs to the classroom. At the General Assembly Millennium Summit held 6-8 September 2000, United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan presented a report presenting an overview of the challenges facing humankind and suggested practical solutions.
