Introducing the Australian and New Zealand standard industrial classification (ANZSIC) 1993

ANZIC has been developed as the standard industrial classification for use in the production and analysis of industry statistics in Australia and New Zealand. It replaces the Australian Standard Industrial Classification (ASIC) and the New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (NZSIC). Australian Bureau of Statistics plans for the implementation of ANZSIC in the published statistics and the range of ANZSIC products and services available are outlined.
