Backup to Babylon

Backup to Babylon collects three shorter works. "Greenstone" describes an arc that connects rural life, shaped by idealism, and the city. "Cabin on the Shore" meditates on the writer-s time living in the Gulf Islands. " Backup to Babylon" is set in the Vancouver of the 1980's, at a time of the Francis Street Squat, of solidarity, of political optimism confronted by cynism.
