ha-Sotsyologyah ha-Yiśreʼelit

This book offers an analysis of the intellectual history of Israeli sociology - written by Israelis, in Israel and about Israel. It tracks the progress of the discipline in Israel from its diffuse beginnings in the late 19th century until today. This narrative is informed, on the one hand, by general trends in sociology (mainly those originating in the German, American, and French sociological traditions) and, on the other hand, by the Jewish-Israeli nation-building process and the Israeli-Palestinian struggle.
