Physician's guide to non-insulin-dependent (Type II) diabetes

Abstract: This publication is a reference handbook for health-care professionals involved in the care and treatment of people with non-insulin-dependent (type II) diabetes mellitus. In this second edition the sections on pathogenesis, management, and detection and treatment of complications have been revised. These revisions reflect additional concern with blood glucose regulation, blood pressure and proper diet in the management of type II diabetes.
