Honour's Bride / The Rebel

Kit St. John is forced into the army by his autocratic father. Fighting against Napoleon he demonstrates his skills as an officer, but is also bedeviled by a drunken and incompetent officer whose wife Judith helps serve as the unit’s nurse. When their unit is attacked and many killed, Kit and Judith must flee, but with scandal also to follow.
