This title examines trade unions in ten European countries Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. It explores their historical evolution, the current challenges which they face such as membership loss and a weakening of collective bargaining, and their response to these challenges.
