The Marine's baby

Change is scary. He returns with his best friend's baby to raise, dreading to face the father and brother he abandoned 10 years ago. She fled to that town to recover from her losses, but instantly feels a bond with his baby. She doesn't plan on ever loving again and he never thought he would settle down. Her faith holds her together and he has lost his belief in God. How is this going to work?
