'How blissful is this! A summer--the entire summer--at our lakeside family cabin with just my sister!' Ellie has been a widow for over ten years, and is getting tired of the label of being 'the widow of that nice college professor.' Grace is a part-time nurse on the verge of retirement. When they decide to spend the summer together at the family cabin, they envision three months of total relaxation. But they will find there is more to summer than time in the sun.
