Yury Kharchenko

The colours in Yury Kharchenko's paintings oscillate between vibrancy and gloom and combine abstract expanses of colour with alienated figurative elements. The 26-year-old artist completed his art studies as a Meisterschüler (student in a master class) at the age of 22. He subsequently studied philosophy and Jewish theology.
