Kasper König is one of the most distinguished contemporary exhibition organizers worldwide and a role model for an entire generation of young curators. This monograph introduces his curatorial thinking processes. It describes the political, cultural, and curatorial contexts and constellations, presents all the important exhibitions, such as 'Westkunst, von hier aus', 'Skulptur Projekte Münster', as well as Königs workstations, A37 90 89, Städelschule / Portikus, Museum Ludwig, and provides insights into their reception and impact. A documentation of all publications and exhibitions, as well as a detailed interview with the author, are found in the appendix of this volume.
