The Old Man and Mr. Smith: A Fable1990

The Old Man and Mr Smith, no less than God and Satan in disguise, embark upon a fact-finding mission to Earth. But these two old sparring partners - God increasingly decrepit and Satan merely bad-tempered - have rather fallen out of touch with developments in the modern world. Finding themselves in a great deal of trouble as they are arrested, escape and spend their visit almost entirely on the run from FBI and Interpol, their escapades point up both the comedy and tragedy of modern life.
