Biography
Born Ontario, Canada, 1952. Kabza founded Annex Press in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1973, the first Annex magazine: title Bisquit, printed by Edwards Bros. in Ann Arbor. Annex 2, Flora Danica, printed by Braun & Brumfield, Annex 3, Terraplane, printed by McNaughton Gunn printers, in Ann Arbor. In the following years Annex published many chapbooks. In the 80's he founded the Translation Work Center in Ithaca, N.Y. with Maria Saiz. They published work by the French writer Alain Veinstein in O.A.R.S edited by Don Wellman. Kabza published Annex 4, translation of Alain Veinstein by Rosmarie Waldrop ( from a reader's notebook) and work by the poet Alan Davies in Ithaca, NY. He currently works as a visual artist, publisher, and film / video director.
