
Biography
Scott Andrew Frost is an American football coach and former player who serves as the head football coach at the University of Central Florida. He was the head football coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 2018 to 2022, and previously served as UCF's head coach from 2016 to 2017. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Frost played college football as a quarterback for the Stanford Cardinal and the Cornhuskers, the latter of which he led to a national championship in 1997. Frost has coached Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota and Heisman candidate McKenzie Milton. He played professionally for six seasons at safety in the National Football League (NFL).
