Biography
Dr. Michael James Hudson received a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Hull in 1962. In 1965 he received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University College in London, with a thesis on properties of the complexes formed by platinum and palladium with o-phenylene–bis(dimethylarsine). In 1966 he became a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, in which he went on to become a Fellow in 2002. Also in 1966 he became the Schoolmaster for Chemistry for the St. Paul's School in London. In 2002 he received a D.Sc. degree from the University of London for studies in Inorganic Materials and Separation Processes. He has published over 130 papers and several books in the field of chemistry. He is currently working as an independent consultant to European companies in connection with inorganic materials and also on the treatment of nuclear waste.
