Biography
**Richard Taylor** (born 1946) is a British historian of Russian and Soviet cinema who has also written about propaganda and film in the USSR, the Third Reich and the UK during World War Two. His publications also include translations, first and foremost of the selected writings of the Soviet film director and theorist, Sergei Mikhailovich Eisenstein (Eizenshtein), and latterly of a wide range of important documents relating to Russian and Soviet cinema.
