Biography
Cecilia Gentili (she/her) was an Argentine-American trans rights activist, actor and sex worker. She was known for her role in the TV show *Pose*, as well as her direct service through *Apicha Community Health Center* and *GMHC* in NYC. Cecilia’s memoir, *Faltas*, was published in late 2022 by Little Puss Press, Inc. Here she compares and contrasts her experiences of transphobia in Argentina and the U.S. After her death in 2024, the *Cecilia Gentili grant* was launched in her honor.
