Biography
Frank Justus Miller was a leading American classicist, translator, and university administrator in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He served as interim president of [Shimer College][1] from 1896 to 1897. He authored the [Loeb Classical Library][2] translations of Seneca and of Ovid's [*Metamorphoses*][3], was president of the American Classical League 1922-1934, and served as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Chicago 1911-1923.
