Biography
James Griffiths is Asia correspondent and bureau chief for The Globe and Mail. He is the author of two books: The Great Firewall of China: How to build and control an alternative version of the internet and Speak Not: Empire, identity and the politics of language.
Before joining The Globe in 2021, James was a senior producer for CNN International. He has reported from across Asia, including Hong Kong, China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Qatar, and the Korean Peninsula.
