A.C. Demidont

A.C. Demidont is a Connecticut-based AMAB, Transfemme identifying, femme-drogynously expressing, Queer Radical Witch and Infectious Diseases/Internal Medicine Physician. Her journey as a LGBTQ healthcare practitioner, researcher, academician, and innovator has given her the opportunity to participate in everything from individual patient care to teaching healthcare professionals TGNC/Queer medicine to writing Connecticut guidelines for ending the HIV epidemic to creating a new and innovative LGBTQ healthcare center in Connecticut. She currently serves as Gilead Sciences’ Principal Medical Scientist for HIV Prevention, covering New England and Upstate New York, and the Medical Chair of the Board of Directors for Anchor Health Initiative. —Trans Bodies, Trans Selves (2014)
