AI audiobook narration that survives a real listen

Feed a novel into a TTS API and you get audio that sounds fine for thirty seconds and falls apart over a chapter. The models are stateless — every few thousand characters is a fresh take, and the narrator’s pitch and energy drift between takes. Listeners hear it as the voice “changing” mid-paragraph. Names get pronounced three different ways. Dialogue and narration blur into the same voice at the same energy.

These are production problems, and they have production solutions — the same ones recording studios have used for decades, adapted to AI: measure everything, take multiple takes, splice surgically, master consistently. That pipeline is the product. We wrote up the engineering in detail.
